Basemap configuration |
iPortal supports managing basemaps used by Service Preview and built-in WebApps in a unified way. Log in to the portal homepage as an administrator, enter Management > App Center Management > Basemap Configuration, and you can perform the following operations:
iPortal has a built-in dark map of China as the default basemap. On the Basemap Configuration page, select the "Add a basemap" tab, you can add a new default basemap in the following ways:
Click the "Add a basemap" button, select "Internet Basemap" from the drop-down menu, select the source of the Internet basemap in the pop-up dialog box, check the default basemap to be added, and click the "OK" button to add the map to the basemap list. Currently supports adding Tianditu Map, Google Map, Baidu Map, Japan Institute of Geography Map, and OpenStreetMap, Bing Map as basemaps. Among them, Tianditu Map, Google Map, Baidu Map, and Tencent Map need to be configured with corresponding keys. For details, please refer to: Configure Keys.
iPortal supports configuring specified map services as the default basemaps. Click the "Add a basemap" button and select "Map Service" from the drop-down menu. You can choose to add it from the Resource Center or via the map service address:
Both the built-in default basemap of the dark map of China and the newly added default basemap can be deleted. You can tick the check box in front of the basemap name, or select the basemap to be deleted through the "Select All/Invert/Unselect" button, and then click the "Delete" button to remove the selected basemaps from the default basemap list.
The basemaps in the default basemap list may not be available for all WebApps. You can specify a basemap to apply in a specific WebApp at a fine-grained level. Click the Edit button on the lower right side of a basemap card, you can decide which WebApp can use the basemap, and click OK to take effect. After the configuration is complete, you can view the basemaps configured in DataViz, DataInsights and MapStudio.

Note:
When adding an Internet basemap, the Tianditu Map, Google Maps, Baidu Maps, and Bing Maps need to be configured with corresponding keys first. On the Basemap Configuration page, select the "Configure Key" tab, and fill in the developer key you applied for on the Internet Maps official website. After the verification is passed and saved, you can add the corresponding Internet map as a basemap.
